Why shouldn’t Narrowboats use the Thames?

by admin on August 16, 2010

Isn’t it time we got over this NB-phobia thing and moved on? They are just people like us who enjoy being on the water but in a different type of boat. Yes, NB’s may be more suited to the canals but that doesn’t mean they can’t (or shouldn’t) be used on the Thames. by admin on August 4, 2010

I have for many moons now been advocating the ‘moor alongside’ philosophy on the YBW Thames Forum as well as when out and about on the river, but with very limited success. As a one-time coastal sailor I was well (…)

by admin on July 30, 2010

Had a very disappointing start to the cruise when some low life threw a stone at the boat and smashed one of the main cabin windows.
